Improved engine characteristics with the PowerBox

Increased HP: 145 HP Increased Torque: 327 Nm

We have tested the 3 Series (F30) 316d. Like every test, it is not only about the maximum power output (a few more horsepower have been possible) but also we attach importance to limit load of the drive chain, the gearing mechanism and so on. The heat generation was monitored by installing our sensors, particularly we pay attention to temperatures of the barrel head, the bend and the particulate filter. At long distance these values are compared with the series values to be able to precisely detect changes and avoid differences.

In terms of performance we added a lot of liveliness and agility here.
